SPRAYGROUND X CHAVELIS PLAYHOUSE
London Fashion Week 2025
Chosen as one of ten global designers and fashion houses to collaborate with Sprayground for London Fashion Week, Chavelis Playhouse created four custom runway looks blending fantasy crochet, sculptural silhouettes, and playful self-expression with Sprayground’s bold streetwear energy.
Led by Founder + Designer, Michaela Chavelis, and Creative Director, Mikey Arroyo (me), the collection transformed the runway into a colorful collision of fashion, performance, and personality at London’s iconic Freemasons’ Hall.
Wearable Worlds
We transformed Sprayground’s signature backpacks into a sculptural runway piece designed to feel equal parts fashion, fantasy, and wearable art. Built entirely from stacked Sprayground bags and accessories, the look pushed the collaboration beyond traditional styling, turning the brand’s product into the outfit itself. Presented alongside three additional custom looks, the collection brought Chavelis Playhouse’s playful, larger-than-life design language to an international runway stage
Money Moves
Transforming the brand’s iconic bear character into an oversized sculptural runway piece layered with plush textures, cash graphics, and exaggerated details. Blending playful chaos with high-fashion absurdity, the look captured the bold, larger-than-life energy at the center of both Sprayground and Chavelis Playhouse.
Shark Attack
For another standout runway look, we reimagined Sprayground’s signature shark iconography through a futuristic sculptural silhouette featuring exaggerated spikes, sharp tailoring, and checkerboard textures pulled directly from the brand’s visual world. Blending streetwear attitude with fantasy-fashion drama, the piece transformed a recognizable brand motif into high-impact wearable art.
City of Bags
Dozens of Sprayground mini bags turned into a fully sculptural garment inspired by armor, collectibles, and streetwear obsession. Topped with a dramatic spiked headpiece nodding to the Statue of Liberty, the piece blended New York iconography with Sprayground’s playful visual universe.
Purple Reign
Inspired by rave culture, streetwear, and early-2000s fashion. Finished with exaggerated proportions, layered textures, and bold color blocking, the piece brought a softer, more chaotic-fun energy to the runway while still feeling unmistakably Sprayground.
