From green-carpet interviews and creator-driven social content to immersive branding moments throughout the venue, the experience was designed to make Excel feel larger than life, dramatic, competitive, and culturally relevant beyond the spreadsheet itself.

The green carpet became a stage of its own. Attendees stepped in front of the Glam Bot, connected with creators, and captured memorable moments designed for social sharing. By blending live content production with fan participation, the experience extended the excitement of the championship far beyond the competition floor.
Making Sheet Happen
To extend the Microsoft Excel World Championship experience beyond the finals floor, we gave away custom merch designed to feel collectible, wearable, and deeply rooted in internet and spreadsheet culture. Featured in attendee goodie bags, the limited-edition “Making Sheet Happen Since 1985” hoodie became both a conversation piece and a fan favorite throughout the event.
